BIRTHDAYS:  (1/13) Samara Max, Roger Wilbanks and Miss Guernsey, (1/14) Alex Hutman, Alize Williams and today to Mrs. Bentley.



·         There is a Key Club meeting this Wednesday morning (1/17) in the Media Center.

·         Social Studies Academic Team will meet in Ms. Mak's room during both resources on Tuesday. Bring lunch if you need to.

·         There will be a short meeting for all student council members’ right after school in Ms. Mak's room on Thursday.

·         If you are a talented make-up artist, painter, or hair stylist, please come see Ms. Mak. We would love your help with The Lion King production which requires a lot of elaborate hair and make-up!

·         Any students interested in joining the FINE ARTS Academic team, please meet in Miss Wests room on Wednesday, (1/17) after school for a brief meeting. If you cannot come, see Ms. Hardesty or Miss West for details.



Vocational application for second year vocational students are due by January 31st.  First year are due February 9th. See guidance for more info. 





The boys swimming team won the Greater South Conference Championships in dominating fashion for their third consecutive team title.  The boys outdistanced second place North Newton by 173 points, third place Griffith by 219 points, fourth place Calumet by 281 points and fifth place Bishop Noll by 313 points!!!  Leading the way with first place finishes were Bobby Emery, Aiden Hostetler, Evan Nowak, Riley Henslee, Sonny Vitello, Hudson Hall, and Brandon Taylor who also set a conference record in winning the 200 freestyle.  Way to Go Bearcat Swimmers!!!

The girls swim team won 9 out of the 11 swimming events in their conference meet. First Place Finishers were: Lily Graske, Laura Wong, Taylor Hellwege, Morganne Marrs, Aimee Bolde, Rachel Gerbick, Hailey Orosz.
