HAPPY BIRTHDAY: Makenzie Kirkland

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

·         Natural Helper meeting is today in the cafeteria at 6pm, a parent must attend with you. Bring $40.00.

·         Student Council officers will have a meeting on Thursday after school in Ms. Mak's room.

·         Any students interested in being in the pit orchestra for Seussical the Musical should see Ms. Mak as soon as possible. We need a wide range of instruments, including guitar and bass. (keep this announcement in for this week and next week)

·         Anyone interested in joining the Social Studies Academic Team should plan on attending the call out meeting on Friday after school in Ms. Mak's room. It will be very short, but if you do not think you can attend and are still interested, then just stop by Ms. Mak's room to ask for more details!

·         Spanish Club is taking a Latin dance lesson to learn bachata, merengue, and salsa on Thurs., 10/18.  Any members interested will need a permission slip. Forms and $ are due by Tues (10/9).  Please see Sra. for details.

·         There will be a score meeting in Mr. Kunze's room, room 400, after school on Wednesday to discuss October's score event.

·         The next Score event will be the Costume classic Mushball tournament, on October 30th.  Each team needs 11 players to participate. Each player must wear a costume to participate. Cost will be $25 per team and will help fund final score. We will award final score points as well.  To sign up please bring a complete roster to Mr. Kunze no later than October 29th.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

·         Girls and Boys Swimming and Diving Teams call-out meeting is immediately after school on Thursday, October 11th for anyone interested in joining.

 

SPORTS RESULTS:

·         The Bearcat bowlers bowled against Chesterton last night.  They lost their match.  High rollers for the Bearcats were Kai Winters 163  143, Hayden Holten 150   161,  Corinne Miller  191  196, and Kody Horan  170.  Their next match is next Tuesday against Westville.
