The Spanish Club is an organization which promotes the Spanish language, culture, and traditions to members and thereby the school and local community.
All students are invited to participate regardless of whether they currently study Spanish. The club aims to foster an appreciation for the food, language, dances, and celebrations of the many Spanish speaking countries.
We host celebrations with piñatas and unique foods such as: fried ice cream, flan, pan dulce, tacos & taquitos, and a salsa taste off where we sample varieties of over 20 salsas (store bought and homemade). Some of our most popular activities are Bubble Soccer games, Jarritos & Canvas painting , Just Dance dance-offs + Salsa/Bachata/Merengue dance lessons and the Tomatina (tomato fight).
We also offer travel abroad opportunities and fundraising options. Please join us to celebrate the “mundo de español” and become a citizen of the world.
