ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

Homecoming News: “Midnight Masquerade” is Tomorrow from 7-10:30pm. Outside Fieldhouse.

§  TODAY IS SPIRIT DAY!

§  Dance Tickets, will be on sale in the cafeteria and at the door for $20 per person. The first 250 people to buy their tickets will receive a mask at the dance.

§  You must turn in a Guest request form TODAY to bring someone from another school.

§  Culver's Frozen Custard is here today during all lunches supporting the WHS Academic Teams.  

§  Fish and Chicken fry TODAY in the cafeteria from 4-7pm. Cost is only $7 for students and children, $8 for seniors, and $9 for adults!

·         All class shirts are in see your class sponsor if you ordered one.

 

GUIDANCE NEWS

§  The following colleges will have a representative in the cafeteria during lunches this week, if you wish to talk to them: Next Week: 9/18 Hanover College, 9/19 Indiana Tech, 9/21 Purdue Northwest

§  Purdue Northwest College Fairs at the Westville Campus on Oct 2nd.  Go to pnw.edu/college-fair for more information.

§  Attention seniors: There is a College Financial Aid seminar on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 6:30 pm in the WHS Auditorium.  Families welcome. 

 

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Wrestling call-out meeting will be on Monday at 3:30 in the fieldhouse wrestling room.  No experience required.

 

SPORTS RESULTS:

Lady Bearcat soccer defeated Covenant Christian yesterday 8-1. Riley Garcia had a hat trick, Lyric Green had two goals, while Delaney Bath, Claudia Philips and Riley O'Brien scored one each.

 

SPORTS EVENTS FOR TODAY:

Tonight the Bearcat varsity football team takes on Griffith at 7pm at home.

 

SPORTS EVENTS FOR SATURDAY:

Cross Country travels to New Prairie for an 8:30 meet.

Both the Girls and Boys varsity soccer teams will take on Boone Grove Saturday at home.  Girls play at 10am followed by the boys at noon.

Boys’ tennis will travel to Hanover Central for a conference tourney starting at 9am
