BIRTHDAYS:  

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

·         There is a Key Club meeting tomorrow morning (Wed) at 7:15AM in the Media Center. Bring your dues!

·         Any senior that has attended Natural Helpers and would be interested in being a leader, see Mr. Rosta ASAP.

·         Blood Drive at WHS on Thursday Oct 19th.  See Mr. Boruff for more details.

 

GUIDANCE NEWS

§  All students are encouraged to begin their student profile to qualify for the Dollars for Scholars scholarship.  Go to uniontownship.dollarsforscholars.org,

§  Seniors your DFS application must be completed before April 7th, 2018. Click the “My Scholarship portion of your profile to view all scholarships you may qualify for.  You must click “SUBMIT” to complete.  See your Guidance counselor for more details.

 

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

·         Basketball conditioning for tomorrow has been cancelled and moved to Thursday at 5:45am due to the PSAT test.  Basketball sizing for shoes and travel suits has been moved to Thursday during lunch.  Contact Mr. Johnson if you have questions.

·         Swimming and diving team call-out meeting on Thursday, October 12th at 3:00pm in the pool area. Any girl or boy who is interested in joining the swimming and diving teams should attend this meeting.  An athletic physical is required to be on file before you can start practicing

·         The track &field call-out meeting will be on Wednesday, November 1st @ 3:30 pm in the cafeteria. The meeting will last until 4:15 pm at the latest.  All students need to have a ride after the meeting. This meeting is for all student-athletes not involved in a winter sport.  There will be no conditioning practice that day due to the meeting.

 

SPORTS RESULTS:

Congratulations to our Lady Bearcat varsity soccer Sectional Champions.  They defeated Marquette 7-1 Saturday. Lyric Green led the way with five goals and one assist. Gia Diaz had one goal and one assist. Delaney Bath had one goal while Lauren Putz and Claudia Philips had one assist each. Cheyenne Foor made two saves in the win. Regionals will be this Saturday at Laville.
