HAPPY BIRTHDAY:

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

·         Student Council officers will have a meeting TODAY after school in Ms. Mak's room.

·         Any students interested in being part of the pit orchestra for Seussical the Musical should see Ms. Mak as soon as possible. We need a wide range of instruments, including guitar and bass.

·         Anyone interested in joining the Social Studies Academic Team please attend the call out meeting next Friday (10/19) after school in Ms. Mak's room. It will be very short, see Miss Mak if you cannot attend.

·         The next Score event will be the Costume classic Mushball tournament, on October 30th.  Each team needs 11 players to participate. Each player must wear a costume to participate. Cost will be $25 per team and will help fund final score. We will award final score points as well.  To sign up please bring a complete roster to Mr. Kunze no later than October 29th.

·         Robotics meetings will be Mon, Tue, Wed and Thu next week, right after school until 4pm.

·         German club field trip to Oktoberfest will be on Thursday October 18th, see Ms. Ault for more details.

·         Spanish Club is taking a Latin dance lesson to learn bachata, merengue, and salsa next Thurs. (10/18) Please see Sra. for details.

 

GUIDANCE NEWS

Attention Seniors; Need Help filling out your college FAFSA application? Join us tonight between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. in the high school media center for our FAFSA completion event. This will consist of a brief presentation from a state financial representative followed by one-on-one assistance with completing your child's financial aid application. 

 

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

·         Girls and Boys Swimming and Diving Teams call-out meeting is immediately after school TODAY, for anyone interested in joining.

 

SPORTS RESULTS:

Girls soccer defeated Bishop Noll to win the Sectional Championship 10-2 over the weekend. Lyric Green scored three goals while Riley Garcia, Claudia Philips, Lauren Putz, Tessa Haldeman, Gia Diaz, Elena Giorgi, and Lucija Woldt all scored once. Claudia, Riley, Lauren, Anna Capellari, and Morgan Putz each had an assist. Alaina Hill, Nicole Durall and Ash Minton combined for five saves in the win. The team is 19-0 on the year.
