HAPPY BIRTHDAY:  Alexander Hutman, Robert Tadic



·         There will be a meeting for any students wanting to join the Fine Arts Academic Team on Tuesday, January 15th in Ms. Hardesty’s room during first resource. See Ms. Hardesty for more information.

·         This Wednesday the Harlem Wizards will be at WHS at 7pm to take on UTSC teachers and staff.  Purchase tickets at the door or go to  Proceeds benefit the JSE and UCE PTO’s.

·         Robotics meetings for this week are: Mon, Tue, Wed and Thur until 4:30.                                







·         The Girls Swim & Dive Team competed Saturday in the GSSC conference meet on Saturday and placed second. Congratulations goes to Tessa Haldeman for breaking the school record in diving, she placed 3rd and Malina Clemans placed 4th. The results for the Swimming Events: First Place Finishers: Laura Wong in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Breaststroke, Aimee Bolde in the 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke.  Second Place Finishers: Relays: Aimee Bolde, Laura Wong, Bailey Fairbairn, Hailey Orosz, Emily Gaylord, Emma Hellwege, Kaitlin Shaver, Laura Wong. Bailey Fairbairn 100 Butterfly & 100 Backstroke, Hailey Orosz 500 Freestyle Third Place Finishers: Emily Gaylord 200 Freestyle, Hailey Orosz 50 Freestyle,

·         The Boys Swimming Team dominated the GSSC Conference Championships on Saturday outdistancing the second place team by 215 points!  Hudson Hall, Evan Nowak, and Riley Henslee each won three events, Sonnny Vitello won two events, while Bobby Emery, and Paulo Ribeiro each had one victory.  Placing in the Top Six were Liam Hostetler, Mikey Ruane, Zachery Jarvis, Steven Jarvis, Josh Mangnall, and Paul Hernandez, and placing in the Top 12 was Tyler Kimberlin

·         Congratulations to Hayden Holten who rolled a 527 (167  201  159) series to advance to the bowling Regionals this Saturday in Michigan City.  Good Luck Hayden!



Girl’s basketball will host Grant Park at home today, JV plays at 5:30 followed by varsity at 7pm.

Boys Freshman basketball travels to Lowell for a 6pm game.
