HAPPY BIRTHDAY: last week to Mackenzie Shepard, Riley Hurt, Emma Miley, Abigail Cawby, Ryan Richter, Brandon Serafin, Hope Buckmaster, Dakota Collins, Hakam Safadi, Hanna Shields, Garth Driver, Dietrich Podlesak and Today to Shelby Klimczak and Mrs. Titak

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

·         NO LATE START WED THIS MONTH. Due to the snow days, Wednesday 2/6 will be a regular class schedule, school starts at 7:45.

·         Congratulations to the WHS Choirs for their performances on Saturday. All performed well and received the following: Silver: Advanced Choir and Concert Choir ensemble Noah Strom, Emma Miley, Kaitlyn Blackmon for their solos. Gold Solo: Kendall Lutz. Solos going to state: Lily Bushey, Trey Erny, Annemarie Miley. Ensembles going to state: Concert Choir and combined Advanced Choir/Concert Choir ensembles. We are proud of you!!

 

GUIDANCE NEWS

 

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Track and Field call-out meeting is tomorrow (Tue 2/5) in the cafeteria at 3:30 pm for anyone planning on going out for the track and field team. For anyone still in winter sports please see Coach Guillen in the middle school for your information packet. 

 

SPORTS RESULTS:

The Wheeler Girls swim team had a great meet at sectionals on Friday, February 1 & Saturday, February 2 placing 7th overall. The team made it into finals in three relays and diving and 10 individual swims in consolations.

Top Place Finishers:

200 Medley Relay:     7th Place - Aimee Bolde, Laura Wong, Bailey Fairbairn, Hailey Orosz

200 Freestyle Relay:  7th Place - Emily Gaylord, Emma Hellwege, Kaitlin Shaver, Hailey Orosz

400 Freestyle Relay:  6th Place - Emily Gaylord, Aimee Bolde, Bailey Fairbairn, Laura Wong

Diver: Tessa Haldeman 6th Place & Malina Clemans - 12th place
