HAPPY BIRTHDAY: Makayla Wiggins

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

·         This is finals week:  Tomorrow is 1st and 5th period finals and Friday is 2nd and 6th period finals.

·         Last day of school for Wheeler High School is Friday.

·         Summer school begins Tuesday June 4th and runs through Thursday June 20th, 8am to 1pm.

·         Seniors (and foreign exchange students) you must turn-in your chrome book by the end of the day Friday or buy it.  If you are buying it bring $160.00 (check made out to WHS) to the office by end of day Friday.  Please turn them into your teacher after your last final or the office.  Don’t forget the chargers

·         Seniors remember to turn in your Photographer cards to the office.

·         Bring in gently worn shoes to Mrs. Pagone in Room 508 for a chance to win $50.00.  The shoes are donated to countries in need while helping support Union Twp. swim club.

·         Freshmen: Report to your resource TODAY (Wednesday) to elect your class president for next year. Elections will happen in resource today only. 

·         All student council members and future class officers will have a meeting right after school on Thursday in Ms. Mak's room. This is our final meeting of the year!

·         The Fall musical is "Once on This Island." Auditions will happen very close to the start of the school year, so make sure if you are interested you keep an eye out for flyers and announcements or follow Bearcat Theatre Company on Facebook. If you have any questions about the audition process, rehearsal schedule, or the show itself, come see Ms. Mak in room 200 anytime!

SPORTS EVENTS FOR THIS WEEK:

Good luck to Bryce Catherman, Hudson Hall and Thad Martz as they compete in the Boys State track meet on Friday, May 31st at Indiana University and Amaya Turner and Emma Hellwege will compete in the Girls State track meet on Saturday, June 1st also at Indiana University.
