Subjects Taught

I went to Lake Central High School and graduated in 2008. From then, I attended both Purdue University Calumet and Indiana University, Bloomington. I was always interested in being a teacher and I never wavered from my choice of degree. In 2013, I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Secondary English Education. I was beyond excited to receive my degree and even more so to use it at Wheeler High School.

After graduating in May 0f 2013, I worked for a year, teaching 8th grade English and Literacy at Griffith Middle School. After seeing an opportunity at Wheeler, I decided to take it and I have been teaching English at Wheeler since August or 2014.

Welcome to the webpage of Miss Eveland! I hope you can gain insight on who I am, as a teacher, through reading this page. I teach English classes at Wheeler High School and I love every second of it. I hope students and parents alike can find this webpage useful and enlightening. I am dedicated to reaching out to every student and trying to give them the best educational experience possible.

Teaching has always been of the utmost importance to me and I have always been interested in education. I have experience with the theater and I worked on the newspaper staff in high school and college. I love reading and I enjoy listening to Bob Dylan and Neil Young. I adore being a teacher at Wheeler High School because I have recieved an overwhelming amount of kindness and appreciation. I can't imagine myself anywhere else.
