I currently hold a license in Cosmetology, and am also a licensed Cosmetology Instructor. My theatre knowledge and background is extensive, having worked at The Memorial Opera House, Chicago Street Theatre, 4th Street Theatre, and The Star Plaza, as well as Touring in 2011 with the Canadian Comedy group “Kids In The Hall”. I also taught for a year at Kouts High School/Middle School as their Drama Director. I have been involved in over 75 productions in 14 years, learning all aspects of the theatre. I regularly work with books and materials to bring the newest, and most relevant theatre teachings and information to my students.

I am a 2007 graduate of Wheeler High School and have been in UTSC since kindergarten. I have a heart for this corporation and this theatre. The theatre/arts programs at WHS/UTMS have been a huge part of making me who I am today, and without this school, I would never have had the experience and opportunities I have been given. In my free time, I volunteer at area theatres, assistant directing, stage managing, and sometimes performing. I feel that by keeping myself immersed in the outside theatre culture, I can bring my students the best advice and real world applications possible.

I am the Auditorium Director and Performance Director at Union Township School Corporation. I believe in the arts, especially in education. I run a number of different theatrical opportunities. We have both a high school and middle school drama club program that meets after school. In addition to that, we put on four shows a year, two of them being high school productions, one being a middle school production, and then in the summer we run a community theatre program. We also run an Elvis Tribute program and two talent shows each year. I am also the director for our International Thespian Society, which is a theatre honor program. Students in high school can gain points by doing different things, and once those points reach a certain level they are inducted at our annual drama awards. There are multiple levels that students can achieve, the highest being International Honor Thespian, and I am proud to say that we have had two students reach that level by graduation in the last four years, and we have three current seniors on track for that honor this year alone. We at Bearcat Theatre Company have run a successful theatre program for the last 20 years, and we look forward to many more.
