Union Township Middle School

The Union Township School Board has approved the continued acceptance of Out of District Enrollment student transfers in grades K-8. The transfer application for the 2026-2027 school year is available for completion now and enrollment openings by grade K-8 will be shared after the April Board Meeting. Information relative to the Out of District Enrollment process along with an application may be found here and on the front page of our district website in the menu bar. Transfer applications are due by Friday, June 10, 2026. Applications will be approved at the June 17th School Board Meeting and parents will be notified of their child's enrollment status on June 18th. Returning transfer students must also submit an application. If more applications are received than available openings, a lottery draw will be held. Transfer students who have completed grade 8 at UTMS remain eligible to continue as a transfer student at Wheeler High School. There is no tuition fee for out of district enrollments.
