Ten students enrolled in the WHS dual credit Astronomy course, along with other faculty and alumni, were able to tour/use the 16" telescope operated by the Valparaiso University department of Physics and Astronomy. VU astronomy students gave us a private guided tour and showed us how the telescope operates. After that, students were able to view a nebula, several star clusters, and the planet Saturn.
