UTSC will operate on a two hour delay schedule March 6, 2026 due to the dense fog again.

Come out and support Wheeler Track & Field for their Fish Fry this Friday, March 6th from 4-7pm!

Wheeler High School's academic teams came through with an exceptional performance at the Purdue Northwest invitational Wednesday night. Competing against 11 Porter County schools (including Valpo and Chesterton):

- Our math and fine arts teams placed 3rd
- Our Science team placed 2nd
- Our English team took home the first place trophy!

Our overall scores were high enough to earn us an overall combined 2nd place finish for the evening!

Congratulations to all team members on a successful evening as we look forward to the next area competition in April.

For Read Across America 2026, the main theme from the National Education Association (NEA) is “Create & Celebrate a Nation of Diverse Readers,” emphasizing seeing oneself in books, while also promoting “Champion Kindness” as a monthly focus for March, coinciding with Read Across America Week (March 2-6, 2026). Stop by a UTSC library and choose a book to read! We have something for everyone!

Come out and support the Wheeler Girl's Volleyball team for their Fish & Chicken Fry this Friday, Feb 27th!

Students in Mr. Harnew's Government class were able to hear Kelly Anthony, who is the Regional Director to Senator Todd Young, speak yesterday. They learned about her position and what is involved in working with a US Senator. She also took questions about upcoming legislation and explained the differences between the state and federal governments.

Thank you Mr. Harnew and Ms. Anthony for this opportunity for our kids!
